SCRANTON - Democratic congressional challenger Corey O'Brien invited U.S. Rep. Paul E. Kanjorski on Tuesday to take part in 10 candidate forums before the May 18 primary election.
Two forums would take place in each of the 11th Congressional District's five counties - Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Carbon and Columbia. Voters could ask questions, Mr. O'Brien's campaign manager Justin Carroll said.
Ed Mitchell, Mr. Kanjorski's campaign spokesman, said Mr. Kanjorski is too busy doing his job "to worry about that now."
